2023 Legislation

The stakeholder engagement and communications efforts of CREA members and stakeholders influenced the final rule for Regulation 28 that was adopted by the Air Quality Control Commission (AQCC) on Aug. 17, 2023. The AQCC adopted several provisions to provide more flexibility for building owners and various pathways for meeting the standards, but significant challenges remain in the implementation of Regulation 28.
